Remote Learning Provision
Our remote learning offer is designed to ensure that every child can continue their learning confidently and safely from home if needed. Whether a pupil is isolating, recovering from illness or learning remotely for another reason, we provide high‑quality activities and support that mirror the learning taking place in school.
🎥 What Remote Learning Looks Like
Our approach combines a range of engaging online materials, including:
- Teacher‑recorded videos to introduce new learning, model tasks, and explain key concepts
- Short instructional clips to support independent work
- Interactive activities that pupils can complete online or offline
- Practical tasks designed to encourage creativity, problem‑solving, and hands‑on learning
This blend ensures that children can access learning in a flexible way that suits their home environment.
📱 How Learning Is Delivered
All remote learning is provided through ClassDojo, our secure communication and learning platform. Through Dojo, families can:
- Access daily learning tasks and video lessons
- Upload completed work for teacher feedback
- Receive messages, reminders, and support from school staff
- Stay connected with the class community
ClassDojo is accessible on phones, tablets, and computers, making it easy for families to stay involved.
🧑🏫 Support for Pupils and Families
We aim to make remote learning as smooth and supportive as possible. Teachers:
- Provide clear instructions for each task
- Offer regular feedback on submitted work
- Are available during the school day to answer questions via Dojo
- Adapt learning where needed to meet individual needs
If families need help accessing ClassDojo or completing remote learning, the school office is always happy to assist.
🎒 Expectations
We encourage pupils to:
- Engage with the daily activities set
- Watch the teaching videos before completing tasks
- Upload work regularly so teachers can monitor progress
We understand that every home situation is different, and we work with families to ensure learning remains manageable and positive.
