We regularly remind parents to park legally during drop off and collection times and be extra vigilant at these times.

We are keen to promote ‘Walk to School Weeks’ in May and October to encourage children to be active and walk to school where possible.

Bicycles may be ridden to school by children, accompanied by an adult for our younger pupils. We ask that children wear safety helmets. Bicycles must not be ridden on the premises, and should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.

Children in Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to complete Bikeability. This begins on the playground and then teaches children how to ride their bikes safely on the road.

The Academy cannot accept responsibility for bicycles left on the school premises.
